Theodore’s is a local bar and market nestled in the Historic Reynolda Village of Winston Salem, North Carolina. We offer a full-service bar with craft cocktails, local beers, and a curated wine menu as well as a food menu which includes freshly-made sandwiches, soups, salads and more. Our space has a vintage, old-world feel reminiscent of the period in which our historic location was built. The original white subway tile from the dairy of the estate remains and our decor features antique and heirloom pieces sourced from local antique dealers across North Carolina.
In our market you will find a variety of locally sourced foods and homewares. There is always something new coming in and our wares change seasonally, so come see us!

Frequently asked questions
Do you take reservations?
No, we do not take reservations. Our restaurant is counter-service. When you come in, you order food in the market and then sit down or head into the bar to grab a drink. We will then bring your food to you at your table.
Do you offer gluten-free options?
We offer gluten-friendly options, but due to the nature and size of our kitchen, we cannot guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination with gluten products. For this reason, we advise people with severe gluten allergies to not order food from us. Any of our sandwiches can be made on gluten-free bread, and we also have gluten-friendly salads, smoothies and soups.
Do you offer vegan/vegetarian options?
We do offer several sandwiches that are vegetarian and can be made vegan by taking away cheese. We also offer salads and smoothies that are vegan. Just ask your server or bartender about our options.
Do you take call-in orders?
Yes, and we also have an online ordering platform that will be launching soon.
What types of goods does your market offer?
We offer a variety of drinks and snacks to accompany your meal or as a quick snack on the go. We have a selection of wines and canned beers in our fridge. We also offer seasonal homewares and decor items curated by our owner, Anna Margaret Roth.
Do you take catering orders?
Yes, we can accommodate large or catering orders. We do ask for advance notice depending on the size of the order. Call us at 336-842-5221 or drop us an email to coordinate your order.
